I don’t think I could ever get bored shooting couples in London, England. Everything from the architecture to the gardens to the shops is like scenes from a movie. Its the perfect backdrop. Each neighborhood is so unique. Tara & Ryan decided to have their engagement session in London, its more of a Destination engagement session. Tara and I came up with the idea of a 1940’s engagement session. We could have picked any decade for London and made it work, that city is so versatile.
Tara and Ryan completely dressed the part, and on an extremely rainy day we headed to V & A (Victoria & Albert Museum.) in South Kensington which was the neighborhood we were staying in.
After the museum we headed to the giant Albert Memorial which was commissioned by Queen Victoria for her husband Albert. Victoria and Albert’s story is probably one of the most romantic of all the English monarchs. It was perfectly fitting for Ryan and Tara. On a side note I highly recommend The Young Victoria Movie.
The museum is stunning, its quiet and ornate, with a mix of modern and old artifacts. It is my favorite museum I have seen yet.
So here are a few scenes from Ryan & Tara’s London, England engagement session.
