This was probably the most beautiful weather we have seen all year and we were so lucky to have it on Sarah & Jamie’s wedding day.
You may remember Sarah and Jamie from their engagement session a few short weeks back titled Jamie Loves Sarah-Part One
This spectacular event took place in Gravenhurst, Ontario at a fantastic place called Grace and Speed on the Muskoka Wharf. The very talented crew from eventdecorator.com completely transformed a classic boat museum into an elegant wedding reception and a night club lounge! Jamie and Sarah’s wedding really went above and beyond our expectations, I heard a rumor that some 4,000 peonies were flown in from Holland for the wedding and when you see the details shots of this wedding you will see that they were soooooo worth it.
Sarah and her dad rode in on a boat and then he walked her down the dock to the ceremony tent. During cocktail hour guests mingled to the amazingly talented voices of our very good friend’s the Sweetnam’s Alexis and her father Garth, you may remember Alexis from Barrie’s Next Top Model season #5.
The newlywed’s entered the reception and took th dance floor by storm when they brought together their months of dance training to grace us all with a mix of hip hop and ballroom dancing to “That’s Amore”.
Speeches were said from the bow of a boat in the museum that towered above the guests at their tables, the food from the best restaurant in The Muskoka’s, North Restaurant & Lounge, and then the best desert in the world was these amazing butter tarts, which just might be my new favorite desert. Move over Creme Brulle.
And finally the vendor we all can thank for making this event truly successful, Sheryl Clifford from Wedding Ties.
Sheryl has been a superstar wedding planner, the best we have worked with to date! She really went above and beyond her duties. She throws one hell of a party, and you all should hire her, seriously she is worth it. Fantastic job Sheryl! We cannot wait to work with you again.
With Jamie and Sarah we wanted to really tell a story, with all of the amazing decorations and the great food and location, and of course one of the coolest couples in the world we were able to achieve a great story. So sit back and scroll through some of our favorite moments from the day.
