Waaaaay Back in October (Yeah we know how long ago it was, and we don’t like being that type of blogger who posts things from months ago, just to fill in the boring days, but these are some great shots that have to be shown off!) we shot the Krubnik Family along Toronto’s lake front. We have never been down there before, and it was really beautiful!
We were all having such a great time, and Ryan was about to take an amazing shot of the family from a rocky edge near the water. Just as he hit the button on his camera he moved ever so slightly and took a dive into a bed of large pointy rocks, chest first.
I was on the opposite side snapping away when I heard Christine yell out “Oh my God!!!” and I turned and there was Ryan laying face down on a large pile of rocks. I have to say it scarred me sh*tless for a few seconds because to see any grown man fall is always scary.
To say the least Ryan was okay, he suffered a few major scrapes and bruises, but no damage was done to the cameras, thank God! (Just kidding babe, I care about you too! the cameras are just so damn important!)
Ryan is not a clumsy guy by any means, he just hasn’t had the best of luck lately. Rewind back to Meredith and Joey’s wedding when we got a bacterial infection in Punta Cana, D.R and then rewind back to this summer when we were shooting an engagement session in Fredericton, N.B where he stubbed his toe on a bridge and lost a lot of blood.
So I think Ryan needs a little sympathy, blog sympathy, so all you readers of our lovely little blog, leave Ryan your condolences, and words of wisdom on how to stay safe at a photo shoot.
I love you babe!!
…and we love the Krubnik family, I swear Christine and Jack have passed their photos on to about 15 friends in the first hour we had their proofing site up! Thanks guys!
So here are a few of our favorite moments from the shoot.
Enjoy!
Erika
