Our first engagement of the year! We are so excited to show you all the photos from Katie and Matt’ engagement session. Matt & Katie have been together forever, a decade to be exact. They are fun, and very much in love, and are excited about their huge wedding coming up this December. We actually photographed Katie’s sister Christine and her family late last year.
We went to Wasaga Beach, Ontario for this session. In all the years I have lived in this area (9 years for me -Erika, Ryan has been here his whole life) I have never been to Wasaga (The world’s largest fresh water beach in the world) in winter. Let me tell you, most of the stores are boarded up as this is a huge summer tourist site. The snow is deep, knee high almost everywhere. Even though we had a beautiful day, one of the first warm and sunny days in a long time, we still ended up coming back to Katie and Matt’s cottage soaking wet from the snow.
But its okay, we love it, its the life of Adventure Wedding Photographers ahah! (we may have just coined a new phrase there)
