We are Erika & Ryan, the internationally published and award winning photographer team behind Rowell Photography. Specializing in Wedding Photography for Destination Weddings near or far, Portraiture & Family Photography. Located in Barrie Ontario, halfway between Toronto and the Muskokas.

In 2005 when we started our little photography business, never did we imagine that it would take us on such an exciting journey. From traveling the world to being published in magazines like McLean’s, WedLuxe, Today’s Bride, Weddingbells, B Magazine (Ireland), Perfect Wedding, and tons of online blogs, newspapers near and far, even being interviewed on CBC Radio twice. since then we have been lucky enough to work all across Canada, France, England, Czech Republic, Mexico and Dominican Republic photographing couples in love, growing families and many amazing stories.

What we love most about shooting weddings and engagements is watching each couples love story unfold right before our eyes, its like we are watching them fall in love for the first time. We enjoy the challenge of creating something new and fresh for each couple we meet. We truly love what we do, and hope that our images portray the passion we have for photography and storytelling! The Princess Bride

Today we had the pleasure of spending the afternoon in an amazing house in Shanty Bay near Barrie Ontario, with an amazing couple, Cheryl & Mark. Last June we shot their wedding at Tangle Creek, their wedding photos can be seen at this link http://rowellphoto.com/blog/2007/06/23/the-annett-wedding/ they are actually the first post on our blog!, and today we photographed Chery’s bridal shoot. We had such a great time, and took some really cool pics. So here are some of our favorite shots from our very first Bridal portrait session that didn’t turn into a Trash the Dress Session haha!

Cheryl just looked stunning, thank you so much for coming down to Barrie to shoot with us, we can’t wait to meet up with you both and shot again.

We had so many places to shoot in this very large and beautiful house but my favorite photos came from the little girls room with the princess carpet.

I love the cat in the corner of this shot. These big furry cats kept on walking in and out of our shots, I wish they would have stayed it would have been cute.
