We simply love this yellow themed Windermere House Wedding, but hold that thought.

Last week I flew to Saint John N.B to visit my mom and sister. I haven’t been out East to see the fam in over a year! So it was so nice to head back and spend some much needed time with them. I have been traveling out to New Brunswick for at least 24 years and this was the first time I had ever visited in Autumn. We used to visit on summer breaks when I was young and now I seem to only visit at Christmas. My mom and I visited some of the cutest towns in N.B. St. Martins and St. Andrew’s By The Sea. St. Andrew’s is probably my favorite East coast town, it would be so perfect to shoot a wedding at. Its like our Niagara -On-the-Lake with a fishing, lobster and whale watching theme. It is also home of the Fairmont Algonquin Hotel which is so stunning. Next time I will have to bring Ryan down to spend a few days there; he loves really small towns.

Speaking of small towns, Windermere, ON has got to be one of the smallest. I think there are about 30 people who actually live there year round and the rest are staff for the Windermere House. Kelly & Lee had a beautiful Muskoka wedding at Windermere House a few weeks ago. You will probably remember them from their Collingwood engagement session Lee & Kelly’s Engagement session.

For the 2nd time in a row shooting a Muskoka wedding at Windermere House that the weather kept us indoors for the ceremony. Luckily this is one of Muskoka’s most stunning wedding venues, and one of the oldest so shooting indoors is is really nice. Ryan and I have had the chance to get to know Kelly and Lee over the last year which is why we were so excited for this Muskoka wedding. They both grew up in Barrie, they even went to the same high school as Ryan. We knew each and everyone of the vendors at their wedding, actually we have known most of them for years and photographed almost all of them. I think the best man said in his speech that “there isn’t a single person who doesn’t know someone else here”. So true. This Windermere House wedding had such a great, positive and fun vibe. Check out the list of vendors below, we personally recommend all of them.

Enjoy these photos of Kelly & Lee.

Congratulations you guys! Thank you for having us as apart of your celebration.
