A month ago I listed a few wedding locations that we are going to be shooting some amazing weddings at this year. Since then we have added a few more to the roster.

Now we usually like to take a day trip to each location and scope them out with the bride and groom to find some really cool spots to take shots, and share ideas, however with our first 2 feature venues we won’t be able to just swing on by and check them out. These two locations were on our 2008 wedding photography wish list, basically if you look back in our blog you will find the Top 20 places we want to shoot a wedding, and both of these cities were on that list, so if you are having a wedding check out our Top 20 places list and see if your location is on it.

Boldt Castle- Alexandria Bay, New York U.S.A

I can’t believe we are shooting a wedding in a castle, this is beyond exciting, Ryan and I were lucky enough to have made a trip down this past summer, and we both agree that the gardens and the castles are so beautiful, all we could talk about when we were there was how much we wanted to shoot a wedding there. Boldt Castle is located on Heart Island on the St. Lawrence River between Ontario and New York state, you have to take a boat to get to the castle. Here is a link to the official website, if you are thinking about getting married at a castle, Boldt Castle on Heart Island is a great choice, and a great experience for even a day trip.

Now this next location is so exciting, when I heard we got this wedding I let out a loud “Woo HOO!!!”” Because I have been wanting to go to Paris, France for my whole life and for every excuse in the world I have not yet been, but this summer we are going to Paris for 7-8 days to shoot a wedding. Since Ryan has been there before, we have a few photos that we can post in this blog. These photos are from 7 years ago and are scans from slide film, but even before Ryan was a working photographer, he was still rock star. So here are a few pics from the city of Love, where we will be this August shooting an amazing wedding ceremony and and then doing a photo shoot around the city. I am soooo excited!

While we are in Paris we are also thinking about looking to some modeling agencies to potentially shoot some models in and around the city. We are looking to fill our portfolio, so if you are a model in Paris, France looking for some new shots, we would love it if you would contact us, we will be in Paris August 3-11 2008.

Cheers

& Ryan
