Summer Wedding at Windermere House, Muskoka - Rowell Photography

Hello and Happy New Year!!! 2015 is going to be amazing, but there is still so much 2014 has left to say. This gorgeous wedding from late last summer is one of my all time faves from Windermere House in Muskoka. Davina & Jack had a stunning ceremony, with perfect weather. And anyone who knows Muskoka at all knows that the weather can change in a matter of minutes, and luckily storms raged the few days leading up to the wedding. Jack and his family hail from Australia, Davina and her family are Ontarians who cottaged in Muskoka, so this setting was the perfect getaway and adventure for these two awesome families. We also had the chance to work with a fantastic crew of people that we have had the privilege to work with a few times this past summer. For those of your who are planning your 2015 & 2016 weddings and events in Muskoka be sure to check out the Muskoka Wedding Show this Saturday at Grace & Speed in Gravenhurst. Its a fantastic show, a small boutique style, unlike the cattle calls you often are pushed through in larger cities. We actually met Davina & Jack at this show and as it turns out it was a great fit! Jack and Davina’s wedding day went off without a hitch and the photos are beautiful and full of life because that is exactly what Jack and Davina brought to their celebration. If their guests weren’t smiling, they were laughing. There were positive vibes all around and and that to us is what wedding celebrations are all about.
