Last week we photographed Tara and Duane’s wedding at Bracebridge’s Inn at the Falls. You may remember Tara and Duane from their engagement session this May at Niagara-on-the- Lake. Bracebridge is located in the Muskoka region, and Muskoka, in our opinion is one of the best regions in Ontario to get married. Beautiful lakes, quiet towns, great getaways and a wedding industry that is really booming. Whats not to love?
The Inn at the Falls has a very antique feel to it, its a beautiful, classical design, with tons of paintings, pattern wall paper rooms, and pale colored furniture. Ryan and I have passed by the Inn on so many occasions and we finally had the chance to go inside. Tara and Duane’s wedding was DIY (do it yourself) dream wedding. Packed with details made by the bride herself. Tara made the bouquets, and all flower arrangements, she bought her dress online, and even provided entertainment for the night (this girl has an amazing singing voice). One detail that cost her about $20.00 was giant sparklers. They made for some really fun and creative photos. All their guests gathered outside the Inn at the end of the night to celebrate.
