Cancer Connections – Saint John N.B

For the past few years Rowell Photography has been photographing families affected by cancer with the Smiling Eyes project. Smiling Eyes is a group of dedicated photographers giving their time and talent to photograph those very people. 2 years ago we met Kyle and his family at Ronald McDonald House in Toronto while he was in the middle of treatments. Since then Kyle had made a great recovery. Kyle’s photo was chosen to travel in the Photosensitive Canadian tour. It is a humongous photo installation that is traveling Canada to help educate about cancer and build awareness about the cause.

The show stopped in Saint John N.B where my mother lives and she went down to the show and photographed the installation for us. We are so honored to be featured in such an important movement.

The first photo below is the the image of Kyle at Ronald McDonald House and the installation images were taken by my beautiful mother.

I have been lucky to travel to Iceland, France, England, Scotland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Croatia, Mexico, and Italy photographing couples in love, growing families and amazing adventures.
