Winter can be such a drag, and most years it really has been! We were lucky enough to have such a busy winter of photographing weddings, families and engagement (Pre-wedding) photos, it actually gave us more energy and motivation to be outdoors. This is probably one of our most active winters in years. We have been taking advantage of all sorts of fun wintery sports and activities. We walked most of Old Quebec City, spent hours sliding down the Hotel de Glace ice side, went snow tubing at Snow Valley in Barrie, skated at night, in the forest of Arrowhead Provincial Park in Muskoka, and even bundled up our dog Pepper and watched her run circuits in the snow around Sunnidale Park in Barrie. Its been a great winter so far. Next on the list, we want to try skiing again!
Earlier this year we photographed Jordan & Peter’s pre-wedding engagement photos at Deerhurst Resort in Muskoka. It was a pretty quiet day, and we had the ice rink all to our selves. So the newly engaged couple (as of Christmas) rented a pair of skates and took to the ice for some romantic winter pre-wedding engagement photos. Deerhurst Resort is one of the only Muskoka venues that allows pets, so they were joined by their adorable Jack Russell puppy.
Congratulations to Jordan & Peter on their pre-wedding engagement! We wish you all the best as you plan your upcoming wedding and your new life together 🙂
Cheers
& Ryan
