Let’s fall in love with moments!
We are people watchers, in the simplest terms. Even though we do not have any children of our own we understand the importance of the connection between parents and children. These connections may not seem as apparent when you are dragging your kid from the car to the park for a perfectly poised family portrait. But those connections are so very clear to us. After a decade of photographing and watching families, and seeing them grow together we have been able to gain an understanding of how families play. We get it, its hard work to get everyone on the same schedule, and all participating for even 1 minute. Showing the world or even just your photographers how awesome your family really is can be a daunting task. So each year we have to ask ourselves, is it worth it? Is it worth it for families to book off time from work?, spend hours getting the entire clan photo ready? Each year the answer is a big fat YES!
It is worth the time and the investment to have portraits taken. It is worth it to have printed photographs on your walls that you can walk past every day that remind you of your family, your kids when they were age 4, 6 and 16. It is worth it to have a reminder that your family-for even just a few split seconds- was happy, attentive, and totally in the moment. Proof of this time in your lives, what you looked like, how you interacted with one another, and how you love one another.
So just like the last 3 successful years of hosting Families in the Park, we continue to offer families the opportunity to have documentation of their growth by offering our sessions at a great rate. Since this year is the 10th Anniversary of Rowell Photography, we decided to extend the dates from a single weekend to a full 10 days of Families in the Park. This will give you more options for dates, and allow us to serve and photograph more amazing families.
