2015 has been a big year of travel for us. Beginning in January with Ryan’s excursion to Yukon to cover Yukon Quest (which we will be posting on this blog for you all to see soon). Then in the spring our anniversary trip to France & an anniversary photo session for a couple from Hong Kong in Santorini, Greece. Then a Bermuda destination wedding for Olympian Meagan Duhamel. A Quebec City pre-wedding photoshoot for a couple who came all the way from Singapore. A holiday photo session in Canmore, Alberta for a family and a commercial shoot in Banff. Then to end the fall season, we took to the road for our annual trip to the East Coast. This year we had a little stop over to visit this adorable family for their Fredericton family photo session. Mom and Dad (Parker and Bronwyn) actually had us out to their home about 5 years ago for their Sherbrooke, Quebec engagement photos. So it was quite an honour to photograph their newish additions.
We started the photo shoot at the Ducks Unlimited Conservation Centre in downtown Fredericton, and halfway through our photo shoot a wedding ceremony started to take place, so for about 20 minutes these two little girls were the best behaved kids on the planet. We literally photographed them in silence, trying hard to get them to smile without giggling to loud. Never have we seen such sweet and attentive kids in all our years of shooting. Once the ceremony was over we let them loose and ended the last portion of the shoot in their very own back yard, where we were privy to a secret garden backyard entrance, and world’s most adorable party trick. We love watching our Rowell Photography families grow. We can’t wait to see you all again in a few years.
Cheers
& Ryan
