Jason and Elizabeth contacted us a few weeks ago to cover their reception in Toronto. They were married earlier this year in Hawaii.

But this Hawaiian wedding was not just any destination wedding, it wasn’t just any elopement, it originally started out as being a family vacation.  Jason and Elizabeth had been together for years and had always known they were going to eventually get married. When Jason’s parents decided to take the family on a Hawaiian vacation,  Jason thought it would be the perfect opportunity to plan his big surprise.

Jason, along with the family planned a wedding without Elizabeth knowing. She had no clue.  Jason had thought of every detail, he flew in her family, got her a dress, planned the party and they were married in a very emotional ceremony over looking the beautiful island.

At the Toronto reception we all got to watch the wedding movie, and even though it is months later Elizabeth still gets all teary eyed. It was a complete fairy tale wedding, a whirlwind of emotions.

Weddings are really amazing events because they allow us (the photographers) the chance to really see the love and goodness in people. Jason and Elizabeth really love one another, they celebrate their love all the time. Heck, I think this was their 3rd wedding celebration!

We have only had the chance to know Elizabeth and Jason for a short time, but from what we can tell, they are simply and honestly an amazing couple and they love to laugh.

Congratulations to Jason & Elizabeth, we hope you 2 never stop laughing, and Jason we can’t wait to hear what crazy surprises you have in store for Elizabeth on your 1 year anniversary!
