It is that time of year, the time of year when it is too cold for t-shirts and sandals (I know this because I tried to wear flip flops today and froze my feet!) Its Fall time. The best time, in our opinion for photos of the portrait and family kind.
Our first family was our long time friends Kaitlin and her daughter Madi. I have known Kailtlin since she was in grade 8. So it was nice to finally photograph the 2 of them together. Madi had a case of the crazies, and ran around for about 45 mins of our 1 hour session. She was quick but I think Ryan was quicker and was able to catch Madi being the adorable, energetic kid that she is. The best photos of kids are the ones of them being themselves. Whether it be them running around screaming and laughing, rolling around in the grass or laughing so hard it hurts.
We love photographing kids & families, we think every family deserves a great portrait. We will not rest until we have photographed every family!! (well we will rest, eventually, after enough families have been photographed, let’s say 50 or so before Christmas would be a good goal)
This is why we are holding the Fall portrait Event which will continue until December 1st 2009. For families and kids.
