There are so many elegant locations in the province of Ontario, and so many of them we have yet to explore. But the one that I find myself coming back to time and time again is Knox College. Couples love this piece of Toronto architecture. Its classical beautiful, and small enough to full enjoy. Its a Toronto landmark, and for that couples from all over flock to it for photos. We have yet to tire of its simplicity and its complexities.
Lindsay and Dave were married earlier this summer and wanted to blend the old with the new. They chose Knox College for their wedding portraits and added a modern flair by hosting over 100 of their closest friends and family to a reception at the Four Season Hotel in Toronto. Photographed by our very own Luca, with the help of Amelia, the photographs capture the two styles wonderfully. The bride Lindsay is a teacher of Irish Highland Dancing and as a special treat for guests, they were entertained by the Lindsay’s traditional Irish dance troupe. We loved how Luca & Amelia captured the little in-between moments of this reception, right down to the expressions on guests faces during speeches to the men taping down the dance mat to the floor for the dancers. It was an exquisite wedding with some truly colourful cultural touches that made this event very much Lindsay & Dave’s style. Our photographer Amelia said that the performances were so good they brought a tear to her eye.
Congratulations to Lindsay & Dave! and thank you to our amazing team for creating photographs that will serve as treasured memories for years to come.
Cheers
& Ryan
