Nearly 10 years ago, Ryan and I were looking to build a portfolio of bridal portraits, and trash the dress photos. We put out an ad looking for a woman who could fit into the cheap wedding dress I purchased on eBay from a company that makes knockoff designer gowns in China. Nicole found us. We met, we clicked and we chatted for hours, and then we photographed her at Wasaga Beach on a stormy afternoon. The photos turned out perfectly, actually better than we had expected and in the end inspired so many more local brides to do bridal portraits after their weddings. Nicole and I stayed in touch for years afterwards, and then one day we got the call. She was engaged!!!

We were thrilled that she had asked us but we were already booked. Luckily we had an amazing team available. Luca & Allison, were beyond amazing at this wedding. They created some truly beautiful images. They are classic, and funny, and candid. They show the love and humour of Nicole & Matt’s relationship, and their families. They also show off Matt’s incredible (Hopak/Cossack) Ukrainian dance skills, their adorable puppy who was the “Pup of Honour” and also was their videographer with a GoPro on his back for the ceremony, and a whole lot of happy tears.
