A few months ago Ryan and I were thinking about moving to Toronto. We were very close to making that decision to move our company 50 mins down hwy 400. We figured since most of our clients lived there it would be easier for them to come and meet with us if we were in their neighborhood. But then we did a little more research, most of our clients are from Toronto but typically have Muskoka Weddings or Destination Weddings. Being halfway between Toronto and Muskoka is ideal for us. So we decided to stay and open up shop here in Barrie.

Only 1 week after closing the deal on our new space, in the city we both practically grew up in, we got a phone call from Kelly & Lee inquiring about an engagement photo shoot. When she mentioned that she lived in Barrie, we knew that we had made the right choice to stay here. It was perfect timing.

Last week we photographed Lee & Kelly’s engagement session in Collingwood. They wanted variety for their engagement session, different locations, different backdrops, and we thought Collingwood & Blue Mountains covered all the bases. In just over an hour we went from the top of a mountain, to a forest to the lakeshore. There are not many places that allow you to cover all those locations in one day.
