So far this week has been very exciting for us, not only are we posting another winter wedding on the blog but we also just found out that one of our images will be featured in a book! Photosensitive is an organization dedicated to educating Canadian’s on cancer. Last year we were so honored to be apart of a huge nation wide exhibit by photographers all across Canada who photographed thousands of images of people living with the disease. The show was called Cancer Connections, and even though we did not get the chance to see the show when it toured through Ottawa, my mom was able to see the show when it toured Saint John, N.B. The photo we took was of a young boy named Kyle and his siblings. Since the photo shoot 2 years ago Kyle has gone into remission. This is more than just another publication for us, it is a celebration of life and education. For the past 5 years we have made the Cancer Society of Canada, Ronald McDonald House Toronto, and Royal Victoria Hospital’s Cancer Care Center in Barrie our benefaction. Please visit http://Photosensitive.com and view the images that are educating, celebrating and commemorating Canadians across the country.
With all the excitement of our new website we have not yet posted all of our winter weddings yet. So without further adieu, here are Melissa and Rob, they were married at the Berkeley Church in Toronto in a romantic and charming ceremony just a few days after Christmas. It was so cold outside that we decided to just stay inside for wedding portraits, which was fine by us because the Berkeley is an old church turned into an event hall and has a very vintage feel which went along perfectly with the wedding and especially Melissa’s dress. We hope you enjoy these images of Rob and Melissa’s winter wedding at the Berkeley Church in Toronto.
Oh, and one last thing don’t forget to check out our new updated publications section on our website where you can see images and links to a few places you can find us online and in print.
Cheers
