On this chilly day I am going to try and warm your hearts with this sweet, Muskoka winter wedding. Sarah-Anne & Chris were married outdoors, Yes! outdoors on one of the coldest days of the year. Friends and family of the bride and groom bundled up for a ceremony that over looked Lake Devine at one of our most favourite Muskoka wedding venues: Trillium Resort and Spa.
The bride wore a traditional white winter cape over her wedding dress with Sorel winter boots. The groom and groomsmen all wore matching wool sweaters. During the ceremony Sarah-Anne and Chris’ puppy played ring bearer. When it came time for the ring exchange they whistled for him, and he came running down the snowy aisle to deliver the rings. For the rest of the ceremony he ran around with all the kids playing in the snow.
Afterwards the bridal party braved the cold for photos on the frozen lake and with many short breaks to warm up in between photos, we were still able to photographs of the newlyweds as the sun set over their beautiful Muskoka winter wedding day.
Stay warm,
