Each year we celebrate spring by hosting a week long photo extravaganza called “Family Portraits in the Park”. Its a great opportunity for families to update their family portraits in 30 minutes. Some families come every year and others every 2 years. The Ferguson Family is a Rowell Photography fave! This is their 2nd round of family portraits. I love these kids, they are so polite and they ask the funniest questions. The Ferguson Family lives north of Barrie on a huge property and they now operate a farm with all kinds of animals. So to say these kids are outdoorsy is and understatement. This was their first time at Sunnidale Park in Barrie, which is a forested area with an arboretum, and one of the youngest kids asked me if I lived in this forest, haha!
Its hard to believe that these images were captured in 30 mins, the kids just did their own thing and we photographed it. The Ferguson’s have this parenting thing down! These kids were fun, polite and managed to stay clean-ish for the majority of the shoot. At the end each kid said “Thank you” and even gave a few hugs before they left, they are the sweetest family. Thank you for such a fun shoot!
