This year we have been lucky enough to have couples come to our city for their Barrie engagement session. The city of Barrie, Ontario can be quite lovely with our gorgeous lakeshore, but it can also be urban and and little edgy. Jenna & Ryan come from a small town and were happy to make a little weekend vacation out of their Barrie engagement session. They wanted an urban setting, with clean and simple photos. It rained for half the shoot and was sunny for the other half, and Jenna & Ryan didn’t care in the least. They were happy to just be together. Capturing their love is quite easy because they are not afraid to let it show. I think their wedding is going to be an emotional one.
Years ago we met Jenna, she is also a photographer and she actually hired Ryan and I to assist her on a wedding almost 7 years ago. Jenna runs a very successful portrait studio in Picton, Ontario. So when she asked us to photograph her wedding we were thrilled. Its an honour anytime a fellow photographer recognizes your work.
