Well it’s April and we are still talking about winter. To try and cure the winter blues we actually have started advertising for our Families in the Park promo for May. To some it may seem premature, however my calendar tells me its supposed to be spring. I’m still checking in with my mother in New Brunswick to make sure she hasn’t been snowed in each week. It still feels like winter outside here, and although the snow might melting away in the city, I know most of Muskoka and Northern Ontario is still under a blanket of white. Not too long ago (actually just 2.5 weeks ago) Kristi & Chris invited us over to their gorgeous cottage and to the Minden Rapids to photograph their winter engagement session. Sometimes when you have the winter blues, you find a gem of a location like this and it inspires you. It gets you out from under the warm covers, sipping hot chocolate and into wedding season mode. Hibernation is over, and its time to start brainstorming ideas for photoshoots, connecting with couples and shooting more rather than sitting at our computers. I just hope that spring gets the memo soon.
We are pretty stoked to be photographing these two love birds again this summer, who will be married at the ever so popular Windermere House in Muskoka. Thank you to Chris & Kristi for such a great shoot!
Cheers
& Ryan
