On November 21st 2012 I took an early morning flight out to Calgary for the birth of my nephew to be. Camera inhand I thought I was going to be able to photograph the birth (one of my life goals is to do newborn portraits of a baby’s first moment’s of life.) Rushing through airports and whipping around Calgary in a taxi, I made it on time, the baby had not yet arrived. The nurses told my sister and I that she was to have a C-section and it was a 4 hour wait because they were busy. So I decided to run drop off my bags at my sisters house, and literally as I pulled into the driveway, Shaun texts me a pic of a tiny little baby, wrapped like a burrito.
Baby Blair Easton was born to very, very happy parents, new mama Jackelyn and papa Shaun. Happy Heathy and beautiful. Since there are no camera’s allowed in the delivery room during a c-section I didn’t feel too bad about missing his first moments. I got Baby E’s first 3 days of life, documented in photographs. We are so proud of you guys and so excited for all the adventures you have ahead of you. Congratulations Jackelyn & Shaun and Welcome Baby Blair Easton!
