This week we finally unpacked the last box from our move. Photos from the brilliant transformation will be coming soon to this blog. So let’s just say that Ryan and I have been burning the candle at both ends with the renovations and over all move. Now we have a new monster to tame, the wedding! Even though we have opted to have a small wedding and BIG honeymoon, the planning process, at some times is exhausting. Being a wedding photographer I figured I would just call a few friends in the industry and it would be done. Planning made simple. But it is so much more than that, the more I research, the more phone calls and emails I have to make, the more meetings and site visits to choose the perfect location. It’s a lot of work and I haven’t even booked anything yet. Right now my wedding is a scrapbook of photos, and numerous lists of people and places I say I am going to connect with. I am going to need to clone myself in order to plan this wedding, its like having a 2nd full time job!

I have a whole new appreciation and understanding for our couples. Seriously, you are all rockstars! You manage to keep full time jobs, happy spouses, and throw amazing weddings! I am sure once I put in enough hours of work into our wedding I will start to feel as awesome as you all make it look.

Now for a little Muskoka wedding magic. Check out Megan and Matt on the most perfect wedding day at Windermere House we have ever seen! The sunsetting over any lake in Muskoka is amazing, but theres just something about it  when it sets over Lake Rosseau. Congratulations Megan & Matt! We hope you love these images!!

Cheers

& Ryan
