Shelby & Derrick’s wedding is finally here! I’ve been talking to Shelby at least twice a week for over a year about her wedding and also because she is my travel agent and is planning our honeymoon for next June.

I am really excited to show off these photos, because this is one of the few weddings we photographed this year that did a first look. That is where the bride and groom see one another and have their photos taken before the ceremony. We had Derrick wait outside on the sidewalk in front of their home for Shelby to come out in her dress and meet him. We love it when couples choose to meet before the wedding, it really sets a nice relaxed feeling for the entire event, and it also gives the couple time to mingle and enjoy their celebration with their guests at the cocktail reception. Shelby & Derrick’s wedding was held at the Gibson Centre in Alliston, Ontario. If your planning to have a Gibson Centre Wedding, we only have nice things to say about the staff there. And when we come to Alliston to visit my dad, we also visit the Gibson Centre for their art shows.
